Musikmesse 2012 Roland TD-15 & TD-11 new Drum Modules

Roland continue to expand their V-Drums and now we have two more Drum Brain Modules with all new SuperNATURAL® sounds and Behavior Modeling Technology.

I was very pleased earlier this year when they announced the release of their flagship TD-30 Drum Sound Module although they are not in the shops yet. The TD-30 Module was the first V-Drums to have SuperNATURAL sounds produced by Behavior Modeling Technology to provide realism in both sound and expression for emulating drums, percussion, and other traditional instruments.

With the TD-15 and TD-11 you get those great SuperNATURAL sounds in the less expensive V-Drums models. As well as these great sounds, you get an enhanced Ambience feature, plus a Coach and a Quick record function for building up your drumming skills and recording your performances.

These drum brain modules have large LCDs and a user-friendly interface for easy navigation to custoize your sounds customization. You can play audio files via USB and connect directly to computers for MIDI/Audio over USB.

You can purchase the TD-15 brain on its own or part the new TD-15KV and TD-15K V-Tour Series Kits. They have 500 instruments and 100 user-customizable drum kits. Ten multi-effects are provided for processing drum sounds, and the front panel gives you dedicated buttons for tuning, muffling, and effects. There are 11 trigger inputs, plus a click output that can be assigned to the headphone or master outputs.

You can purchase the TD-11 brain on its own or part the new TD-11KV and TD-11K V-Compact Series Kits. They have 190 instruments, 50 user-customizable drum kits, and 10 trigger inputs.

The TD-15 and TD-11 Drum Sound Modules will be available in late spring. For more information, visit
