Here is one of my absolute favourites (approx 1600 pounds worth) the much awaited Roland TD-30 V-Drum Module, building still further on the much loved TD-10 and TD-20. Have a look at this beauty:-

I love my V-Drums they are such great electronic drums, with their patented mesh-heads, great triggering, and a sound engine driven by Roland’s COSM modelling technology. Now there is a new brain drum module the TD-30 and some great new kits – the TD-30KV and TD-30K kits with SuperNATURAL sounds and advanced Behaviour Modelling to respond to all the little nuances and dynamics I put in my drumming. I can’t wait to try one of these.

The TD-30 module has 1,100 instruments and 100 drum kits and they are all user-programmable so you can create customised settings and kits. It also has Two different USB ports which allow you to play audio files from convenient flash media, as well as connect directly to your PC or MAC for MIDI over USB.

The TD-30KV has been designed as the ultimate V-Drums stage kit that has new Black Chrome shell wraps. These are new model drums – The snare and four tom V-Pads (PD-128S-BC; PD-128-BC x 2; and PD-108-BC x 2) have updated rim sensors for ultra-accurate dynamics detection and rim shot depth, while a new V-Hi-Hat (VH-13-MG) brings high-resolution sensing for improved playability. I really want to try this hi-hat as I was not too keen on the VH-12 and much preferred the VH-11. The VH-13-MG, along with the CY-14C-MG and CY-15R-SV V-Cymbals, come in an attractive new metallic grey finish. Finally for the bass drum there is the new KD-140-BC V-Kick and a new MDS-25 chrome-finish drum rack.

The TD-30K has three toms feature the new PDX-100 V-Pad, which offers a 10-inch mesh head with a shiny metal hoop, vertical and horizontal mounting options, and a lightweight yet durable design. For the bass drum it has the KD-120BK V-Kick, PD-125BK V-Pad for the snare, VH-11 V-Hi-Hat, CY-12C, CY-13R, and CY-15R V-Cymbals and the new MDS-12V drum rack, which includes an internal cable management system for a clean, professional look.
